A different take on the typical hot cross bun - Hot Cross Bun Bread & Butter Pudding (mouth watering)
Hot Cross Buns are a fan favourite at my house, usually grilled to a perfect crunch and then lathered with a good amount of butter - delicious! This year though, I have come across a recipe by VJ Cooks, she is a NZ based food blogger that creates lots of easy family friendly meals, The Hot Cross Bun Bread & Butter Pudding that she has created looks amazing and I can't wait to give it a go this Easter, along side some vanilla ice cream (and a few chocolate eggs).
If this pudding sounds like a bit of you or you want to give the kids a break from all that chocolate check out the recipe below or head to VJ Cooks if you want to watch a video on how to make it!
