Porch Security & Liability: Due to increased “porch pirate” activity in NZ, we recommend selecting Signature Required. Neither Funky Gifts NZ nor our courier partners can be held responsible for parcels stolen after delivery when Authority to Leave (ATL) is selected. Choosing ATL is at the sender’s own risk.

Authority to Leave (ATL): Courier may leave your parcel without a signature. Once marked delivered, liability transfers to the sender or recipient.
Signature Required (recommended): Adds security and insurance against loss or theft — ideal for high-value gifts and peak season.
Photo on Delivery (where available): Courier takes a delivery photo for proof of placement (available in selected urban areas, including Hamilton). Shown at checkout when supported.

Options may appear as “Urgent + Photo Confirmation” or “Urgent + Signature Required” at checkout.
